Gretchen
What could her lifelong humans have possibly been thinking when they dropped her off to be put to sleep? She gave their humans all their love and wonderful youthful years, only to be abandoned in a drafty cell with hard floors and a death sentence. Animal cruelty isn’t solely about dog fights or brutality. Cruelty is also starvation, neglect, abandonment as well as other things. Pets are an extension/expansion to your family and deserve to be treated as such.
Gretchen is still a little insecure and unsure about things. She hasn’t shown any aggression towards food, other dogs or cats. She has not not been exposed to children, but her foster mom feels they should only be adopted to an older, mature couple willing to devote not only love and time, but the financial ability to provide the medical care needed.
She loves life and enjoys walking and being in the yard on beautiful sunny days. She is housebroken and past the chewing stage. She has been discovering that her foster moms king size bed has enough room for her too. Gretchen loves to be rubbed and petted, and is very laid back. Gretchen has no known health problems.
Anyone thinking that they would like to meet the this special babies should “use caution”. She will steal your heart at first sight! And she will give you more joy and happiness than you’ve ever known. And any potential adopter should want to do the same for her.
