My precious Annie went to Heaven on November 6, 2009. Her nickname was Annie Bananie, given to her by her “kindergarten teacher” when she was eight weeks old. Annie had many health problems during the years, but remained one of the sweetest, most loving members of our family - no matter what she went through. She was a breast cancer survivor, was blind in one eye, had surgery for bladder stones, and was an insulin dependent diabetic during her last three years. She was well loved, not only by our family, but by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her playmates, including her “best friend” Callie, the Yorkshire Terrier, and my son’s cat, Tigger. Her human friends mourning her passing include Michael (my son), Carol, Jennie, Kate, Jan, Janet, Theresa (who groomed her with care all of her life), and the staff of Lexington Animal Hospital who treated her with love and kindness all of her life.
May God Bless my precious little girl. We’re comforted knowing that, right now, she is running and playing with Shadow, who preceded her to Heaven.
