“I dreamed a dream in time gone by; When hope was high and life worth living. I dreamed that love would never die; I dreamed that God would be forgiving. There was no ransom to be paid; No song unsung, no wine untasted.” Sometimes dreams end and that makes me a little bit afraid and nervous about the future. But the good news is that new dreams take the place of lost dreams! And my dream is for a compassionate person or couple to love and nurture me in a forever home! I’m Torrey and I’m a female, silver & white parti-colored Schnauzer with natural ears and a docked tail. I’m about two years old and I weigh sixteen pounds. I know some basic commands and I’m learning to walk on a leash. I’m house trained with a doggy door! I’m a good traveler so if you’re on the go, that’s good by me! I can be a bit of a runner though so don’t take me anywhere without my leash on. For that reason, I might be best in a home without small children. I sometimes - not always - like to play with my Schnauzer friends…but I have a distinct preference for females. Boys have kooties. I’d be OK as your only four-legged friend or OK with a friend. Fine - I’ll tolerate a boy if I have to! I am a little skittish around new faces but, once I warm up to you, we’ll be inseparable!
