Rachel Carson said, “A child’s world is fresh and new and beautiful, full of wonder and excitement. It is our misfortune that for most of us that clear-eyed vision, that true instinct for what is beautiful and awe-inspiring, is dimmed and even lost before we reach adulthood.” I never want to grow up but I like a little security too….and that’s exactly what I got when my new mom, Kennith, adopted me. Her son and his children live in the home too and I have all that I need. I can run and play with the children but then I’m in mom’s lap for cuddle time!
