Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of Houston

Connie and Terry came to the unveiling of the (Calvin) Klein pet collection and they sure knew class and style when they saw it!!  The couple looked past my new squirrel-skin handbags and my sexy doggie tutus and went straight for the best thing at the show……ME!   I’m so excited to be going to their forever home!  And I’m giving up my designer roots…..I’m now known as Willy Bodine II !!   And I already met a new four-legged friend across the street….Lucy!  Willy and Lucy.  Oh yea…..this place will be perfect for me!  Thanks MSRH - - you can rent out my ’studio’ to another deserving dog!  You were great!!

Oh, I can feel the wind in my face as I fly with my new mom, Rebecca Fiszer, to my new forever home!  I don’t know whether I’ll be riding shotgun on a motorcycle or hanging my head out an open window in her car but either way……we ride like the wind into the sunset!!  Forever pals!  Thanks MSRH!  I knew you’d find me the perfect friend!

Spring training is right around the corner……and there I was….looking out the window looking for a pick-up game of sandlot baseball to show off my skills.  And along came Devon, Clara and David (left-to-right)!  This is the perfect team that I was hoping for and, lucky me, they drafted me on the spot!  David’s got the all-beef hotdogs on the grill, Devon’s got the popcorn popping and Clara is going to rub my tummy till the fun begins!  This is the perfect start to life in my new forever home!!  Thank you MSRH for taking care of me in my “off-season”.  You have a great team too!  Stay tuned for new pictures and stories of me and my teammates on our forever home field! 

Socks?  Yep, I love to play with them…..and my new owners, Barbara and Lisa, said they’ll stuff a pair just for me!  I have a new name as I start my ‘new beginning’.  Spencer….I like the sound of that!  I’m so excited to be in my new forever home!  I see long walks and buckets of dog treats in my future….OK, maybe not buckets….but a lot anyway!!  There are many new adventures coming my way….so stay tuned for exciting new stories and pictures of me, Lisa and Barbara in my new forever home!  Thanks MSRH….I donate my old pair of socks to the next rescue that you save!  You’re the best!!

And just as it was foretold, the Queen of Sheba, having heard of the great wisdom of Carol and Carl Stover, traveled to their forever home to shower them with her gifts and, in return, received their love….and a new name!   My new name is Minnie and I’m in a GREAT forever home.  I know because I’m joining my new friend Andy (formerly Prince) who was also adopted from MSRH by the Stover’s.  Andy tried to tell me he was boss when I came to my new home….but his bark is worse than his bite.  In any event, we have that all straightened out now, thank you very much.  My name may have changed, but I am still the Queen!!  After all, Andy used to be ”prince” not ”king”!!  I know there’s going to be some fun adventures here…..so stay tuned for new pictures and stories of me (and Andy too!).

Perfect!  I have a new mom, Sharon Garrett, and we’re out putting together our new forever home!  It’s going to be stocked with great toys and fun things to do…..and I’m going to be on my best behavior!  My life has been one detour after another but it’s finally on the straight and narrow!  Thanks MSRH!!

I’m Gracie, formally Gidget.  I have been adopted by Mary and Jack Blair - and they are as laid back as me.  I even get animal cookies for pottying outside…….can you believe that?!  I am always in their lap.  I have trained them to stroke me in all the places I like especially behind my ears.  They have five grandkids and I’m so excited when they come to visit.  I make everyone happy here - they wonder why I was ever abandoned - but I am really the lucky one to have found a home where I rule …… their hearts!!  I thank MSRH for taking good care of me, especially Marilyn, because she knew exactly where to place me! My owners renamed me Gracie because I was rescued in the nick of time and it was by Grace I was saved.

Darling, could you pass the cream for my afternoon tea?  And a bon-bon perhaps?  I’m Phoebe and I’m ready to live the life of luxury in my new forever home!  See, I’ve been adopted by Debbie and Javier Beutell and they have everything I need….love, love, great meals, love, love, a cozy bed, love, love.  And love.  Did I mention they have a lot of love?  Wouldn’t you call that a life of luxury?!!  They also have a sister for me and she’s my new BFF….Tilly.  I’m on the left and Tilly’s on the right in all these pictures.  We’re like Paris and Britney!  Thank goodness it’s warming up….neither one of us liked our winter cold weather gear!  The dog park?  In this?!!  However, we both like mom and dad’s new water fountain….but only when it’s not turned on!  Stay tuned for new stories of me in my new forever home.  Thank you MSRH…..you provided a life of luxury as well and I’m most grateful!

The ending of this “Marley & Me” movie turns out great!!  I get adopted by Cindy (Jennifer Aniston) and Ernie (Owen Wilson) Miller of Austin, TX!!  Now who wouldn’t want to be with these great folks?!!  The bad stuff is behind me and my new story is, well, a New Beginning!  Stay tuned for new pictures and stories of me in my forever home!  I’ll be right here……living with the movie stars!!  Thanks for watching over me, MSRH…..there’s never been a finer backstage crew setting the New Beginning stage for dogs like me!

I’m Doc and I’m here to fix what’s ailing ya!  Actually, you’ve caught me at a busy time…..I’m not keeping regular office hours at the moment.  See, I’m now in my new forever home, I’m settling in and I’m enjoying life!  I’ve got a loving mom and dad - Paul and Leslie Alli - and two other four-legged siblings.  That’s Buddy on your left and Mr. Puppy their on your right.  There’s so much to do here, I’m thinking of hanging up my stethescope!  Thanks for the memories MSRH!  It’s smooth sailing now!
