Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of Houston

That was fast!  I hardly had time to meet my foster brothers and sisters when I was chosen to go to a forever home!  I’m now with Matt and Kim and they are so nice!!  They call me a “pretty boy” because I love to look at myself in the mirror and see my reflection in the stove.  They also have another four-legged friend for me to play with named Honey.  We’re still getting used to each other but it’s going to be fine….I just wanted to be sure she’s not another Delilah (haha - Samson & Delilah)!  They’ve shortened my name to Sam which is fine by me!  I’ve settled in for the long haul!  It is going to be so much fun here!  Thanks MSRH - you’ve done it again!!

“Go ahead, make my day.  Take me to your forever home!”  I’m (Dirty) Harry ……. aka Mr. Action …… and someone did just that!  I’m in my new forever home, keeping watch, looking out for bad guys and the like!  I’ve got the best forever family and I’m going to take good care of them!  Stay tuned for new pictures and stories of me in my new forever home!!  Thanks, MSRH!  You knew a movie star when you saw one! 

I’m Micah and I’m on my way to my forever home!  My name means ”resembles God” but I always preferred the alternative meaning, “plays all day and rests all evening”.  I think the latter is the dog my forever home signed up for!  I’m really excited!!  Here’s a picture of my new mom, Marian - - she’s the best!!  Stay tuned for new stories about me in my forever home!  Thanks, MSRH……God is really proud of you all !!

“Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale………”  I’m Ginger - but folks just call me Ginny - and it was a beautiful day when the DeFord family (Chad, Candy and my mom Molly (not shown)) came to MSRH island to take me to their forever home!!  I’m so happy - - I know I’m going to be treated like a star!  Stay tuned for more pictures and stories of me in my new forever home.  Thanks to MSRH and, in particular, the Wolfe family for fostering me and teaching me new things about how to be the best dog!  It worked!!

Those folks at MSRH just love dogs….period.  I’m not even a schnauzer (though I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night) and they still found me a forever home!  I’m now with mom and dad - Melissa Ferguson and George Lambright.  They are the best!!  I’m in their forever home just in time for Christmas.  Just in time for them to buy me a Christmas present!  And they are being so good to me that ………I promise not to hike my leg on their Christmas Tree!!   My mom provided an update to MSRH in May 2009 - they call me ”The Toddler” - I’m the consummate cuddler!   Mom even hand-strips my coat…..beautiful isn’t it??  Thank you, MSRH!!  What a family you found for me !!

I’m Cheri Ann and I’m in my new forever home with my mom, Regina.  Everyone calls me Angel Baby and that’s just what I’m going to be here in my forever home.  My mom is a MSRH volunteer so I’m going to be especially good!  Any friend of MSRH is friend of mine!  I’m really grateful….I didn’t even fuss when they dressed me up for Christmas!  Life’s good here!  Stay tuned for some new pictures and stories about my forever home adventures!

We’re just six months old and we get to be in a forever home already!  This is our new mom & dad … The Sanfords!  They’re great!  We’ve determined they are big UT fans ….. Secret agent James, I mean Jeremy, Bond is now at his forever home!  Jackie and Dan Mills are the new coordinators for all my top secret adventures!  They’ve just changed my name to Radar since I’m observant, I investigate any & every noise and…..this is so embarassing…..my ears are a little big.  Since I got here, I’ve been spending my days checking out all the neat secret agent gadgets (aka dog toys) in their house!  This place is great!  I’m so happy - I think I’ll jump for joy!   Thanks MSRH!  You saved the world’s best secret agent and put me in the world’s best forever home!

I’m Jacob and I’m here with my new parents, Mindy Hurr and Anderson Lee.  Do you think I really deserve such nice folks?  You know me, a little shy and submissive.  Sometimes I just have to ask.  I’m going to really impress mom and dad.  And then maybe I’ll get a treat and a tummy rub…..if that’s not too much to ask.  I’ve got a place of my own in their house - right at the foot of their bed.  I’m right next to my new brother, Prince.  Or King, as he likes to be called.  It’s OK, I’ll be his loyal subject!  Getting adopted into this family was the best day of my life.  Was I gloating just now?  I think I’m coming out of my shell.  I’m like a new dog!  Stay tuned for more pictures and new stories of me in my terrific forever home!  MSRH - Thanks for everything!!

What a deal!  MSRH saves me from the auto scrap yard (true) and in no time, I’m going to a forever home!  I’m going to the home of Nora & Peter Dorflinger and word is, they have loving teenage daughter to help look after me!  No more sleeping in the back seat of a cold doorless car (for real).  No more lifting my leg on the same rusting fender (also for real).  There really is love like this in the world?  These nice folks want me in their home…..forever?  They’ll never be disappointed.  I’m going to be on my very best behavior…..and I’ll love them forever!!  Stay tuned for new pictures and new stories about life in my new forever home!  Thanks MSRH - You were a life saver!!
