“Bright light, almost blinding;  Black night still there shining.  I can’t stop - keep on climbing – looking for what I knew.  Had a friend, she once told me, ‘You got love, you ain’t lonely’.”  Love is what I found when my new mom and dad, P.V. & Joe, came to pick me up and take me to their forever home.  Now I’ll never be lonely….especially now that I have a new best friend in Lizzie!  Stay tuned for new pictures and stories of my forever home adventures!  Thanks MSRH – you have a bright light that shines on all of us!

“I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord.  And I’ve been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Lord.   Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord?”  It’s coming – and “it” is the special feeling you get when someone scoops you up into their arms and carries you to their forever home!  In this case, I’ve been reunited with my owner, Duane!  He paid the costs incurred by MSRH plus he made a supply donation to our cause!  That a way dad!  I’m back where I was meant to be!  Thanks MSRH – you made this all possible!

It didn’t take long – I knew it wouldn’t!  I put on my best happy face, blinked my big eyes and my new mom, Cissy, just couldn’t resist me!  It worked!  And now I’m going to make her the happiest forever mom ever!  Mom reports in that I’m settling in fine and getting along with my two four-legged siblings!  I just love it here – there’s so much to do and it’s always so much fun.  But the best part is curling up close to mom!  Stay tuned for new pictures and stories of my forever home adventures!  Thanks MSRH – from Waiting In The Wings to a loving forever home in record time!

Rachel Carson said, “A child’s world is fresh and new and beautiful, full of wonder and excitement.  It is our misfortune that for most of us that clear-eyed vision, that true instinct for what is beautiful and awe-inspiring, is dimmed and even lost before we reach adulthood.”  I never want to grow up but I like a little security too….and that’s exactly what I got when my new mom, Kennith, adopted me.  Her son and his children live in the home too and I have all that I need.  I can run and play with the children but then I’m in mom’s lap for cuddle time!  Stay tuned for new stories and pictures of my forever home adventures!  Thanks MSRH – you found the perfect home again!

*** ADOPTED *** Daisy

“The road is narrow and long;  Where eyes meet eyes;  And the feeling is strong.  I turn away from the wall;  I stumble and fall;  But I give you it all!”  I gave it my all in my foster home and my foster mom, Ruth, became my forever mom!!  She just couldn’t let me go!  And I couldn’t be happier!  Stay tuned for new pictures and stories of my forever home adventures!  Thanks MSRH – our eyes met and you pointed me toward the sunshine!

*** ADOPTED *** Teddy

Teddy Roosevelt:  “It is not the critic who counts;  not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles.  The credit belongs to the man who…..spends himself in a worthy cause, who at best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and, who at worst, if he fails, fails while daring greatly.”  I’m at my best and my stay at MSRH ended in the triumph of high achievement when I went to Mississippi to live with my new mom, Leslie, in her loving forever home!  I even have a new four-legged best friend in my brother Ziggy!  Stay tuned for new pictures and stories of my forever home adventures!  Thanks MSRH – you helped me keep my head held high!

Colin Powell once said, “Look for intelligence and judgment and, most critically, a capacity to anticipate, to see around corners.  Also look for loyalty, integrity, a high energy drive, a balanced ego and the drive to get things done.”  I had all those things and more and I turned out to be the perfect birthday present for my new dad, Noe!  Mom & dad report that I’ve settled in nicely and that I’m a ball of energy.  They said I’ve been obedient but at the same time stubborn enough so as to teach the family a few new things!  They’re happy and I’m happy!  This is a wonderful family – the perfect place for the perfect companion!  Stay tuned for new pictures and stories of my forever home adventures!  Thanks MSRH – you gave me everything I needed….and then some!

*** ADOPTED *** Diva & Valentino

DIVA:  “But a true diva has dismissed that drama.  A true diva’s heart is open and she’s ready to play by her own rules – rules that are gentle and kind.”  VALENTINO:  “We dreamers have our ways of facing rainy days and somehow we survive.   We keep the feelings warm, protect them from the storm, until our time arrives.”  What a special place we live in.  How fortunate can two dogs be?!!  Our new family, the Maxfields, first adopted Diva and within days, turned around and adopted Valentino too!  Mom and dad report that we’re all getting along fine and we’re even drinking out of the same bowl!  We’re best buddies now and will be friends for life here with our new family!  The Maxfield kids take really good care of us!!  Stay tuned for new pictures and stories of my forever home adventures!  Thanks MSRH – you never cease to amaze!
