MSRH Needs Your Donations!
When one of our rescues is adopted, MSRH charges an adoption fee. This fee typically covers basic medical expenses, including spay / neutering, to ensure the dog is healthy and ready to join a forever home. However, some of the dogs we rescue have problems such as heartworms, infections, skin problems, or even more serious issues that must be addressed before the dog can be adopted. In these cases, the standard adoption fee doesn’t come close to covering the veterinarian services. MSRH works with some outstanding, and very carring & generous, veterinarians. But with a growing number of dogs requiring significant medical care, we’ve incurred significant veterinarian debt.
You can help in any number of ways, but monetary donations are especially critical. To make a general contribution, please send a check to the MSRH address or use our PayPal link below for secure credit card transactions. You can make a PayPal donation from there or simply make a notation of the dog’s name when you mail your check. If you’d like to make a donation as a gift to a family member or friend, please provide their email address so we can acknowledge your contribution on their behalf. You can provide the email address in the ‘message for seller’ section of the PayPal donation site or include a note to us when mailing your check.

MSRH is an all-volunteer, non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization (tax ID 47-0848763). Contributions to MSRH are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. A copy of the letter from the IRS, confirming our public charity status, is found further below.
